31 yr old mother of two with no way to pay a water and sewer bill... Need assistance immediately the utilities r already shut-off as of today.

Hi my name is Samantha, I'm a single mom with two beautiful little girls. At the end of last year I lost my job let me go because I left to get my kids from an abusive child care provider. The company didnt think that was reason enough to leave. I did collect unemployment and barely made it through. I have been cut off of unemployment because my 6 months are up. The good news is I start a job on Monday!! We all know when you start a job it takes 3 weeks before you get your first pay check. Today in the mail I got my sewer and water bill that states that they will be disconnected on October 25th if I do not pay them. I owe a total of $104 then on top of that the landlord is charging me $45 because they put a lean on the property. I dont have the money and wont have the money by then. If I dont pay these bills I wont have water and I will be evicted from my place on Nov 1st. I hate to ask for help but I have hit rock bottom and dont know how to get back up. Please if anyone could help me I would greatly appeciate it. Please feel free to email me.

Well, I signed up because I have friend who needs help. She has been so dependent on others for so long, she's having trouble taking care of herself.I've helped her with no strings or expectations of getting anything back. I love her. She's had hard luck and now another water & electric bill. I've known her for about 3 years. She is a good person. She raised 3 kids and has one more to go. I want to help her. That's why I'm here.

this post is not for myself it's for my son grandparents they are wonderful people, that have help everyone and now they need help there water well dry up and they have been without water for 4 monthes they are both 80 years old and to top it off are takeing care of there down ssymdrom daughter .i have look into grants in the town they live in has a program thats supposed to help people in need but they say they don't have the mony to help because of budget cutts .we have talk to the well drilling companys but want cash up front .i need to get them help i don't no what eles i can do i am not in a possition to help with mony and it makes me feel helpless .we all have been thru so much in these last 4 years i lost my son that would be there grandson he was murder and we are all grieving this loss .thank you for your time any help even suggestion would be great right now .

It's been a while since I've been here. Things haven't gotten any better.

My husband is having a heart ablation this month. They will be going in and cutting off dead parts of his heart and then burning dead parts. It's been in the hospital a couple of times. His defibrilator has been working over time. the battery is suppose to last 5 years. His was put in April 2009 and was recharged in July of 2010. His heart is in constant arythmia. I'm scared he will be taken away from me. He only has 30% of his heart, but just 2 weekends ago more damage was being done when he was in the hospital. I'm not sure now how much is actually working. I'm really scared.

I have had many doctors appointments. I had to have a hernia repair done, it was a rare one, Spigelian hernia. This was back in April. I am having more issues and just had another IV contrast cat scan done last week. I'm having way too many stomach issues that started after that repair. They think i have a liver issue as well. I've had a sleep stude for apnea, still waiting on results. I've had nerve conductions done in my hands and injections, that are wearing off. They determined that no surgery can fix my back and I will be this way for the rest of my life. I am under a tremendous amount of stress, suffer from depression, anxiety and panic attacks.

One good thing, my daughters last surgery in June seems to have done well.

My husband has missed some work and will be missing more. We are behind in all our bills. we don't have any gas on at the moment and it's starting to get cold. we are unable to take a shower or bath since we have gat hot water. We cant afford to pay the light or water bill. we can't even afford to buy our medications or send the money for out kids to go on school fieldtrips or get school pictures taken.

we need help and have no where to go. I don't know what to do.

I am the parent of a 28 year old male who has mental illness. I work part time and my son recieves S.S.I income. We live in a very nice house but we are currently without electric and water. The house is not expensive but it has taken a lot of our funds. If anyone can be of assistance with helping us to secure utilities, it will be greatly appreciated. Please if anyone can help me. I just had a baby 18 days ago and I received my last paycheck from my job. We have run out of money to pay the bills for the month of September and October.  I also have no money to pay for milk or diapers.
